【摘要】:1.1Thesestandardtablescoverthebodymeasurementsofmenfromsizethirty-fourtosixty.Althoughthesearebodymeasurements,theycanbeusedindesigningapparelformeninthissizerangewhensuchfactorsasfabrictype,easeofbodymovement,styling,andfitaretakenintoaccount.1.2Thevaluesstatedineitheracceptablemetricunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisPartofEN4533examinestheterminationaspectsoffibreopticdesignforavionicinstallations.Byterminationismeantthemechanismusedtointerfacefromonecomponent(usuallyafibre)toanother.Thisisnormallyperformedbyaconnector,whichalignsthefibrewithanothercomponent(usuallyanotherconnector)toasufficientaccuracytoallowcontinuedtransmissionofanopticalsignalthroughouttheoperationalenvelope.ThisPartwillexplaintheneedforhighintegrityterminations,provideaninsightintocomponentselectionissuesandsuggestsbestpracticewhenterminatingfibresintoconnectorsforhighintegrityapplications.AdetailedreviewoftheterminationprocesscanbefoundinClause4ofthispartandisorganisedbroadlyinlinewiththesequenceofatypicalterminationprocedure.Thevastnumberofcableconstructionsandconnectorsavailablemakedefiningasingleterminationinstructionthatisapplicabletoallcombinationsalmostimpossible.Becauseoftheproblemsofdefiningagenericterminationinstruction,thishandbookhasconcentratedondefiningbestpracticeforcurrenttonearfutureapplicationsoffibreopticsonaircraft.Thishaslimitedthestudieswithinthisparttocurrentlyavailable'avionic'silicafibrecablesandadhesivefilledbutt-coupledtypeconnectors.Manyoftheprinciplesdescribedhoweverwouldstillbeapplicableforotherterminationtechniques.Othertypesofterminationareconsideredfurtherintherepairpartofthishandbook.1.2NeedforhighintegrityterminationsInordertoimplementafibreopticbasedsystemonanaircraftitisvitaltoensurethattheconstituentelementsofthesystemwillcontinuetooperate,tospecification,overthelifeofthesystem.Animportantaspectofthisrequirementistheneedforreliableinterconnectioncomponents.Thisisoftenexpressedastheneedforreliableconnectors,butinrealityitistheneedforareliablecabletoconnectorterminationprocess.Theessenceofthisrequirementistheneedtoassurereliablelighttransmissionthrougheachopticalconnectorthroughouttheoperationalenvelope.Thisneedstobeachievedthrougharobustprocessthatenablesahighlevelofopticalperformanceoverthelifetimeoftheterminations.Manyfactorscancontributetoanopticalconnector'sin-serviceperformance,suchasbasicconnectordesign,choiceofopticalfibre,cable,operatingandmaintenanceenvironmentetc.However,oneofthemainfactorsgoverningin-serviceconnectorperformanceisthequalityofthecabletoconnectortermination.
