【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheprocedurefordeterminingthedifferenceinthecolourofanorganiccoatingonametallicsubstratebyvisualcomparisonagainstastandardusingeitherdiffusenaturaldaylightorartificialdaylightinastandardbooth.NOTEResultsmightdifferbetweennaturalandartificialdaylight.Itmightbethattwocolourspecimenswillmatchindaylightbutnotunderanotherlightsource.Thisphenomenonisknownasmetamerism(seeEN13523-15).Ifmetamericmatchistobereportedinobjectiveterms,spectrophotometricmeasurements(usingCIEStandardIlluminantsD65andA)shouldbemade,inaccordancewithEN13523-15.Nostatementismadeabouteithertheprecisionortheaccuracyofthisproceduresincetheresultsderivedareneitherinnumericalformnordotheyprovideapass/failevaluationinobjectiveterms.Therefore,thisprocedureshouldonlybeusedwheretheuseofcolourmeasuringinstrumentsisnotrecommendable(evaluationofcolourmatches,inspectionofmetalliccolours,etc.).Althoughcolourmeasuringinstrumentsshouldbeusedwherepossible,insomecasesavisualcomparisoncanbeuseful(evaluationofcolourmatches,inspectionofmetalliccolours,etc.).Thestandardizationofsuchvisualcomparisons,bylightsources,illuminatingandviewinggeometryandspecimensize,providesforimproveduniformityofresults.Thispracticeisessentialforcriticalcolourmatchingandishighlyrecommendedforcolourinspections.
