【摘要】:Thisspecificationaddressesminimumperformancecriteriaforadhesivesusedtolaminateorientedstrandboard(OSB)structuralpanelfacingmaterialtoexpandedorextrudedpolystyrenecorematerials.Adhesiveperformanceisbasedonteststhatsimulateexposuretomoisture,temperature,seasonalweathering,andcreep.Additionally,theadhesiveistodemonstrateresistancetooxidation,mold,chemicalreagents,andcompatibilitytothespecificlaminatingmaterials.Theadhesivemanufacturerscanusethisspecificationfornewproductdevelopmentandqualitycontrolpurposes.Structuralinsulatedpanelmanufacturersrelyonanadhesiveperformancespecificationthatdeterminesitssuitabilitybeforeuse.PerformanceoftheSIPadhesivewhenevaluatedinaccordancewiththisspecificationaidsindeterminingthesuitabilityoftheadhesiveforlaminatingOSBfacingstorigidcellularpolystyrenecorematerialsinthemanufactureofstructuralinsulatedpanels.1.1Thisspecificationisdesignedtoevaluateadhesivessuitableforthebondingoforientedstrandboard(OSB)torigidcellularpolystyreneinsulationcorematerialsforgeneralstructureuse.1.2Therequirementsofthestructuralinsulatedpanel(SIP)adhesivearebasedontheperformanceoftheadhesiveasmeasuredby:1.2.1Resistancetoshearbycompressionloadinginambientconditionsandafteracceleratedaging.1.2.2Resistancetotensileloadinginambientconditionsandafteracceleratedaging.1.2.3Resistancetocreep(deformation)understaticloadinambientconditionsandafteracceleratedaging.1.2.4Tensileandshearstrengthtopolystyrenecorematerials.1.3Theclassificationoftheadhesiveformulationisbasedon,butnotlimitedtotheadhesivex2019;sindustryacceptedgenericnames,forexample:phenol-resorcinol,emulsionpolymerisocyanate,oneandtwo-parturethane.Thetypeofadhesiveapplicationandcuringterminologyarealsousuallyincludedforclassificationpurposessuchascold-settingphenolresorcinol,heat-curedphenolresorcinol,andhotmeltonecomponenturethane.1.4Evaluationofadhesiveperformanceathightemperatureconditions,suchasduringafireexposure,isbeyondthescopeofthisspecification.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
